Last February we participated in Madrid in the fourteenth edition of InterSICOP, the international trade fair of reference for Bakery, Pastry, Ice Cream and Coffee that took place at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Madrid (Ifema).
During 4 days, more than 16,000 professionals from 61 countries met with the aim of meeting key industry trends presented by the more than 175 companies and organizations participating in the bakery, confectionery, ice cream and coffee sector not only from the national territory, but also from countries such as Portugal, Italy, France and Germany, spread over an area of 25,000 square meters.
Presentation of the new Frotz brand
In order to promote the new brand image of the Frotz brand image, which encompasses the extensive portfolio of IQF frozen fruits and frozen fruit purees, part of the Arotz Foods sales team, led by José Ignacio Ruíz, traveled to this professional fair. “We could not miss such an event. We are aware that, particularly in the Horeca channel, customers benefit from the ease of use and time savings that our frozen fruit purées represent”, said José Ignacio, who returns from Madrid with new contacts and the satisfaction of position Frotz on a par with major international competitors.
Unlike in the previous edition in which we participated as Arotz and in which our activity was mainly focused on the commercial aspect, for the first time at InterSICOP, our brand was present with technical seminars and demonstrations given by our partner the pastry chef Ricard MartínezThis allowed us to show the attendees live how it is possible to make state-of-the-art pastry and ice cream preparations without much hassle thanks to our wide range of frozen products.
New image and sustainability
Our design and production team worked hard in the months leading up to the InterSICOP show to get all the products ready to be shown to the public. In this way, our sales team could not only present our wide range of products, but also the new presentation format such as our new recyclable cardboard tray in 1 kilo format in the varieties of strawberry puree , coconut puree , raspberry puree , lemon puree , mango puree y passion fruit puree . With this packaging we seek to be more sustainable and move closer to a future without plastic, something that undoubtedly made an impact on the visitors who came to see our new project and which positions us as pioneers in sustainability within the sector.
